Guided Behind-the-Scenes Tours
On the first and third Saturday of each month, the Director of Conservation and the head Zookeepers from each habitat offer a behind-the-scenes tour of Windaroo Zoo. Observe and participate in feeding and care of animals, learn about how Zookeepers handle the day-to-day issues of animal and habitat care, and enjoy the chance to chat face-to-face with handlers and other zoo staff at an evening reception afterwards.Space in this all-day event is limited to 25 seats and fills quickly. Reservations generally must be made between 3 and 5 months in advance, so inquire about availability as soon as possible.
