Take One Class or a Full Course

The education department at Windaroo Zoo offers many programs and classes for a wide range of experience levels and ages.

Windaroo Zoo offers programs designed for the youngest of children. These programs expose them to nature and the living world around them. Children learn best from what they can experience first hand, and our programs offer the most tactile experiences possible.
Activities Include:
- learning animal shapes
- learning animal noises
- animal games
- up-close animal experience
- snack time with the animals

We also offer a wide range of instruction for school-age children, from prep year all the way through secondary. Through our hands-on approach we hope to stimulate the natural learning ability of children and young adults and help them gain a better appreciation for the world we live in.

- The life of an Outback animal
- Young animal behavior
- Habitat protection
- Sharing the planet with animals

We offer a number of different classes and activities for adults. From wildlife drawing, to ecosystem education, there are many choices that are suited for the older audience.
Current Classes Include:
- Global warming and the effect on the animal population
- Animal population behavior
- The exploration of Australia's ecosystems
